We will say plainly that the updated version reflects an improvement in assembly quality. That is accurate, and we stand behind it. This improvement has not been used as a basis for a price increase. The 12V 314Ah Mini Basic new version carries the same retail price today that it did before the upgrade. We made a deliberate decision to absorb the higher manufacturing costs of the new version rather than pass them on to customers.

What is equally true, and equally important: the old version is not a substandard or defective product.

A Track Record Built on Accountability

We think it is worth providing some context on how WattCycle has handled public criticism in the past, because that history reflects the same approach behind this statement.

Some members of this community will remember the 12V 280Ah Mini labeling mistake on the battery. We did not try to distance ourselves from it. We acknowledged the problem, communicated directly with affected customers, corrected the documentation, and used that experience to drive a full product upgrade. The result was the 12V 314Ah Mini battery you see today. Outside criticism turned into a better product.

That same creator later identified that our LiFePO4 batteries Bluetooth version battery “Take Turns”discharge when in parallel with other batteries.
