Alfons Haas,

Please provide some user manual for the app? I’ll help edit it for usability!!!! Please?!

Geoffrey Bove,

Attempting to use a smart battery in my dump trailer. It turns off within seconds of activating the hydraulics. Can’t find a way to tell the ‘smart’ battery to just work like a battery should. Not shut off as soon as a demand for power is requested. Not so smart,…

Rob Straughan,

What do the “Charging” and “Discharging” buttons do? How should they be used?

Mark Corder,

How to change the pincode on the BT module!?

Remko,

314Ah mini – Bluetooth password protection please !

Torben Aagaard,

Where can I set a bluetooth password for my batteries, so access can be controlled? Its not that smart in a marina that anyone can log om to the batteries!
I got the new version BMS on a mini 314Ah smart battery.

Tore Vesterlund,

Some people asking the Question „What does the Charging/Discharging buttons is also my question.

Harald Reinbold,

How do I make the iOS war cycle app operate in Celsius? Specifically in settings.

Lloyd,

App now working with 25v batteries. Batteries are still charging/discharging unequally but all else appears good.

Peter Parkes,

Guten Tag, ich habe zwei 12V 314Ah smart in Reihe geschaltet. Also 24V 314 Ah. Neu Starten.

M.Rogge,

I posted a comment yesterday but it has disappeared (maybe it is lost in some cache and will reappear). My two new ultra smart 25v 314ah batteries cannot be configured; they report correct values but Parallel Mode is not activated and none of the values in Settings can be changed. Even Factory Reset just responds with Setup Failure. The bot at support.us@ has responded to my query by telling me that Parallel Mode is only designed for 12v batteries and that the settings in the Settings tab cannot be changed by customers. Absolutely incredible. Hopefully service@wattcycle.com can help me as support is apparently useless.

Peter Parkes ,

I have 4 of the 24v 314 ah battery’s 2 in series with the other 2 series ed and paralleled with the first 2 @48 v 628 Ah. When I first hooked it up the battery’s charged just fine from the charge controllers.and the inverter worked ok for about a day then one battery in each series would shut down Taking the whole system down. I have 4 12v agm battery’s that were good so I paralleled them with the other 2 series strings, I did this to keep my out back system working if they shut down. With this configuration every thing seems to be working and I have not seen any of the battery’s shut down (might still be ) but not seeing it on the monitoring mate3. Seem to be getting full power, the monitor shows the battery’s down to 20% but the voltage never goes below 52.1 volts. The battery monitor was made for lead acid battery’s so I don’t think it is accurate.

Stan Siems,

I planned to take my kids on various trips to National Parks and began installing a solar powered battery bank. I chose two of the 100ah BT mini batteries due to positive reviews. I have them installed in parallel. Like many others, I have experienced the issue of one battery taking the load over the other. My typical usage so far has not required the full capacity of both batteries, so this was largely just an annoyance. I have 200w solar running to a Victron MPPT and Shunt. I am happy to report that I have to program the Victron shunt to around 218ah to track with the battery app for discharge levels. At random, the 2nd battery went into hardware protection mode and the BMS was stuck. Every attempt to reset the BMS failed and I ultimately had to open the Lid of the battery case to inspect. All appeared in order and the leads going into the BMS was reading 13.4V so I new the cells were fine. BMS output was stuck at 2.88V…..I disconnected the leads going to the BMS and disconnected the smaller wires on the board. After letting sit for a few minutes, I connected it back up and the battery is once again fully operational. I did reach out to customer service but since my trip is tomorrow, I could not wait.
