Search for the download page and click the [Install] button to install, as shown in Figure 1.

  1. After installation is completed, open the device name interface, select the name of the battery pack that needs to be connected, and click on it, as shown in Figure 2
  2. When entering the app for the first time, a pop-up window will prompt you to obtain Bluetooth usage permission. Click on the settings and select agree to use, as shown in Figure
  3. Note: When connecting Bluetooth, please confirm that the Bluetooth and GPS switches on your phone are turned on first, otherwise you will not be able to connect.

Following a successful Bluetooth connection, you can click the [Status Display] button at the bottom left of the main interface to switch between diverse display interfaces and learn about the detailed data of the battery pack. The following data can be viewed, as depicted in Figure 4.

  1. Display the battery level and percentage, enabling users to better grasp the real-time battery level.
  2. Present the charging and discharging switches.
  3. Exhibit the total voltage of the battery.
  4. Reveal the magnitude of the charging and discharging current.
  5. Display the power size.
  6. Present the number of battery pack cycles.
  7. Display battery status, ambient temperature, MOS temperature, first group cell temperature, and second group cell temperature.
  8. Display the voltage details in multiple series of battery cells, encompassing voltage difference, average voltage, minimum voltage, maximum voltage, and voltage difference for each series of battery cells.
  9. Present alarm information and set parameters
  10. Set parameters.

What does the charge and discharge button do on the app for the (2x) 314 amp hour smart 12 volt battery?
When spending $1k+ for batteries, it would be nice to a clear explanation of what each of the button/ setting does.

Jim rachels,

I installed 2 100ah mini batteries in parallel they will charge togather. But when you discharge(unplugged from shore power) sometimes both report discharge and at other times only one discharges while other is in standby. Support said this is normal. These are just installed and we’re charged up. I was perform a hold up test with only my rv frig running. Did ok 2.3 days. Upon second test after recharging both. I was 1.5 days into test and both batteries dropped I to standby and I lost all power on trailer. I believe these don’t work well in parallel mode. The two bms units are not designed properly to work in parallel

Glenn,

Just installed 314AH in 2025 travel trailer with factory solar panels, controller and inverter. 100% charge and only thing on was led lights. After an hour went into hardware protect and will not reset. 75°F 98% charge. Total POS. Putting lead acid back in until I find a more proven LiFePO4.

Patrick Crockett,

I’m getting “Pack OV Alarm” error on my 314ah smart battery. What does that mean? Where do I find a list of error codes for future reference?

Also cannot get BMS app to connect to battery. iOS iPhone.

Thank you, Jeff Neeley

Jeff,

I’m getting warning messages – hardware protection. Why and how can I reset the warnings and reactivate the battery? How long will it take to automatically reset?

Vince Joseph Colizza,

Can not connect to apps. Tried old and new. What steps should be taken.

Brian Trautman,

I’ve used several Bluetooth batteries and their respective apps, all see to be quirky in their own way. Your instructions seem to skip the user information. Mostly how to connect to the battery. I can’t make it charge. I’ve tried to toggle the charge and discharge tabs and the battery just sits there at 25%.

Rob Straughan,

BMS app for 2x 314ah displays the devices bit gives device connection time out. So no connection. How to solve?

Herbert,

Just received 2x 314amp however wattcycle app is very basic. Do I need to install the BMS version?

Herbert,

Need clarification – I read that Wattcycle App doesn’t provide cell-level data on an iPhone for 280 AH mini. Is that true or has the app been updated?

Alan Shedd,

Please update manual for new app. What does standby mean? Are there notifications as the other user asked? Do I need to update the settings for my battery?

Karen Elizabeth Lally,

The instructions provided on the site do not match the app and it would be nice to have instructions that would actually show you what each selection means.

So basically, there is no effective app available as promoted.

Lorenzo,

All of the questions are relevant to all users. Can answers be put in an FAQ please to be respectful to users.

Nick,

I like the app, but the instruction manual in the app doesn’t match the software. The manual refers to “BMS Meta” – it looks like it has features not present in Wattcycle.
I like the idea of an app, but it’s hard to get the most out of it when I don’t know how it’s supposed to work.

Gregg Garthright,

For a quality product like this, a little improvement in the app is necessary.
1. I can’t understand why it’s not possible to indicate the time remaining until the discharge limit specified by the user, not the BMS’s.
2. And if I had to ask, an notification when the user-set limit is reached. It would be almost perfect.
Thanks a lot

vic,

What does the charge and discharge button do on the app for the 314 amp hour smart 12 volt battery?
When spending five or $600 on batteries it would be nice to have better documentation and explain what each of the buttons do and why doesn’t all of the data work on the app like amount of cycles.
