What is WattLINK Cable?

M8 to XT150 port. Engineered for EcoFlow-Compatible Expansion. The WattLINK cable features an XT150-style plug on one end, precision-matched to the expansion port geometry found on EcoFlow Delta 2 and Delta 3 series stations. The opposite end terminates in a robust M8 stud connector, designed for direct integration with WattCycle 48V batteries. No adapters. No modifications. Standard solar input is slow. WattLINK is not. This cable supports up to 50A of continuous bidirectional current, meaning energy flows in either direction depending on what your system needs at any given moment. Unlike official expansion batteries that share a communication protocol with the station, WattLINK operates on a simpler and more reliable principle: each device manages its own State of Charge independently. There is no proprietary handshake required. If the power station detects a voltage differential that is too large at the moment of connection, its native internal protection will simply pause the link until voltages are close enough to sync safely. Your EcoFlow station displays its own remaining capacity independent while the WattCycle battery tracks its own charge level separately.
Safety and Usage Notes
- Always verify polarity with a multimeter before connecting. Reversed polarity is the leading cause of equipment damage in high-current setups
- Match voltage and chemistry first: LiFePO4 only, 48V (51.2V) only. Never mix chemistries or voltage systems.
- Match SOC before connecting: ideally both units at 100%. Never connect a full battery to a near-empty station.
- If the link pauses, do not force it: allow both devices to equalize charge, then reconnect.
- Follow your product manuals: when in doubt, the official manual takes precedence.
- Use only with WattCycle 48V LiFePO4 batteries and confirmed compatible PPS models
- Do not modify either connector cable.

WattLINK is compatible with EcoFlow Delta 2, Delta 2 Max, Delta 3, Delta 3 Plus and Wave 3 units equipped with an XT150 expansion port. It is not compatible with the EcoFlow River series and Delta Pro series or any station without a dedicated expansion port. Always verify your model before purchase.
Yes. WattLINK supports fully bidirectional 50A current flow. Energy moves from the WattCycle battery into the station when the station needs charging, and from the station outward when powering loads. Both directions operate through the same single cable connection.
If the voltage differential between the two devices is too large at the moment of connection, your power station's native internal protection will automatically pause the link. This is normal protective behavior. Allow both devices to reach a closer state of charge and reconnect. Nothing is damaged in this process. For the smoothest experience, we recommend ensuring your EF PPS and the WattCycle 48V LiFePO4 battery are at the same or a very similar state of charge before connecting. Ideally both units should be fully charged prior to the first connection, to avoid triggering the protection circuit altogether.
No. WattLINK is an independent third-party product designed and manufactured by WattCycle. It is not manufactured, endorsed, or authorized by EcoFlow. Compatibility is based on port geometry and electrical specifications.
WattLINK is rated for a maximum continuous current of 50A at 48V, supporting up to approximately 2,400W of continuous power transfer. The hardware is rated to withstand up to 150A, ensuring that real-world operating loads of 20–30A remain well within a completely safe and stable range.
WattLINK is designed and tested exclusively for use with WattCycle 48V LiFePO4 batteries on the M8 terminal end. Use with batteries of a different brand, voltage, or chemistry is outside the scope of this product's design and warranty coverage. Always use a matched, compatible battery system.
Yes. The XT150 expansion port on EcoFlow Delta 2 and Delta 3 series stations is rated to accept up to approximately 2,000W of input when connected via a proper high-current expansion cable. WattLINK's 8AWG construction and 50A rating are built to deliver exactly that — the full capacity the port was designed for. A standard XT60 solar input cable cannot achieve this through the expansion port. WattLINK connects through the dedicated expansion port and allows you to reach the station's maximum rated input through that channel.
WattLINK is built with safety headroom at every level. The 8AWG copper copper wire is capable of handling currents of up to 150A, while this extra battery cable operates at a maximum of 50A. Furthermore, the housing is constructed from high-temperature-resistant materials capable of withstanding 200°C, well beyond anything this system will encounter in normal use. As long as polarity is correctly verified and voltages are matched before connection, the risk of heat-related issues is negligible under normal operating conditions.
