Zachary Green, 40, lives in Elberton, Georgia, with his wife Whitney and their two daughters, Rylee and Zoey. Originally from Neosho, Missouri, he spent most of his life in Soperton, GA, growing up around farming. Zachary pursued studies in Biology and Chemistry before earning a degree in Wildlife Sciences. His professional journey has taken him through retail, construction, law enforcement, and commercial driving. Today, he manages a ready-mix concrete production facility in Athens, GA. Fishing has been Zachary’s lifelong passion. Starting with bream and catfish, his brother introduced him to bass fishing with artificial lures during his teenage years. That spark became a full-blown passion, leading him to buy his first bass boat and compete in local tournaments. In 2016, Zachary joined American Bass Anglers and has since earned multiple regional wins, numerous big fish awards, and strong finishes at the ABA National Championships on Hartwell and Kerr lakes. For Zachary, bass fishing is more than a competition—it’s a way to unwind and stay grounded. Even with a demanding work and family schedule, he finds balance and excitement on the water. He enjoys targeting offshore fish with a focus on cover over structure. His go-to technique is fishing a football jig and trailer, though he also likes weightless and top water presentations when conditions allow. In spring, he avoids bed fishing out of respect for the natural spawning cycle, even if it costs him a higher tournament finish. Zachary is proud to represent the American Bass Anglers WattCycle Pro Staff and looks forward to continuing his journey in the sport he loves. He is always eager for the next challenge and the next big bite.

Joel Davis, 47, lives on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast with his wife, Laura, and their two daughters, Hayley and Lexy. Their beloved daughter Lilly, who now watches over them, remains a guiding light in their lives. Joel balances family life and his career as a Project Coordinator at a national engineering firm in Biloxi, all while pursuing his passion for fishing. With 22 years of marriage and a life rooted in faith, family, and the outdoors, Joel is a strong example of harmony between work, home, and the water. Introduced to bass fishing in his teenage years by his older brother Dean, Joel quickly fell in love with the sport. Over time, he became not just a passionate angler but also a recognized voice in the fishing community, growing his social media presence and attracting ProStaff opportunities. His personal motto—“GetOut&Fish!”—reflects his drive to encourage others to embrace the outdoors and enjoy the simple joys of fishing. Joel’s competitive journey began in his mid-30s alongside his friend and mentor, Mr. David Bobinger, a church member in his 70s. The pair spent nearly every Friday fishing together, a partnership that sparked Joel’s rise in tournament fishing. Since then, he’s won numerous club events, earned five Club Angler of the Year titles, secured several ABA victories, and served as both an ABA Director and ABA ProStaff Manager. With his sights now set on the BASS Opens, Joel continues to raise the bar in his angling career. On the water, Joel is all about patience, instinct, and adaptability. While he loves the thrill of a topwater bite, he’s also skilled with jigs, swimming crankbaits, and his go-to 11″ Netbait C-Monster. For Joel, fishing is more than a sport—it’s about reading the water, respecting nature, and always chasing that next big bite. Augustus Adcock, 29, lives in Adairsville, Georgia, with his wife Paige and their two children, Presley (9) and Gunner (4), with baby boy number three on the way. He works as a technical trainer at Ball Corporation and lives by a simple but powerful priority list: God, Family, and Fishing—in that order. Augustus’s fishing journey began as a kid on a bicycle, casting into nearby creeks around the house. That early curiosity evolved into a competitive drive that now sees him traveling the Southeast with a 20-foot bass boat. He currently competes in the ABA Team Series, local clubs, Tuesday night tournaments, and various open events. His competitive edge has led to multiple ABA wins and several local victories on renowned fisheries like Guntersville, Lake Lanier, and many others in between. More than just the thrill of the competition, Augustus finds peace and perspective on the water—marveling at God’s creation and studying fish patterns. He’d have a flipping stick and a frog rod on deck if limited to just two rods. But at the end of the day, he’ll use whatever technique gives him the best shot at a win. For Augustus, success is about progress—learning something new every time out and getting just a little bit better with each cast. Follow Augustus Adcock’s Journey Online: Facebook Instagram YouTube
