They livened up my Skeeter with the decreased weight. This allows for better hole shot, better handling, and improved overall top speed. They've also increased my trolling motor power duration immensely. It's been a great experience so far, and I look forward to continuing to use WattCycle!

Boat: A Blazer Bay 2200, a Minn Kota Terrova 24v Trolling motor, an Atlas Jackplate, two 8ft Power Poles, and a Garmin 93sv fish finder Batteries: Two 12V 100Ah WattCycle TM batteries just for the trolling motor, and the DU battery that powers EVERYTHING else (stereo, vhf radio, cranking battery, jackplate, power poles, fish finder, etc) Experiences: Fished in various redfish tournaments along the Gulf Coast of Florida. Upcoming events: Bigger redfish tournaments in Florida. Talking about WattCycle:  My initial review video on the trolling motor and DU battery Second time using the batteries was during the tournament, the DU battery performed perfectly, it cranked up the engine every time and kept all my electronics running perfectly fine. and the alternator on my engine kept the battery charged when we were running from spot to spot.  The TM batteries also performed great for the second time using them. This was a really good test for them in my opinion, the weather was extremely hot, and breezy, so i had to really crank up the power on my trolling motor to be able to move the boat with the trolling motor, we started the day off with 91% on the TM batteries according to the WattCycle app, and ended the day with 71%, in my opinion that was really good!  again, the conditions were not perfect so i had to really depend on the power of my TM. I plan on doing a 30 day review video! but so far so good still! (John Maitland & Doug M)

Brad Krauss

Brad Krauss, 42, resides in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York with his wife Nicole and their two children, Blake (11) and Lily (24). Outside of fishing, Brad manages a collision repair center in Ithaca, NY. He’s been married for 19 years and enjoys balancing work, family, and time on the water. Brad’s passion for fishing began early in life, though he had to teach himself through magazines like In-Fisherman and Bassmaster and by watching every fishing show he could find. His tournament journey started in his mid-20s with local catfish derbies—where he won a boat and motor package that ignited a deeper competitive drive. In 2020, Brad entered the BFLs as a co-angler and bought his first bass boat in 2021 to fish from the front deck. His competitive highlights include a 3rd place finish in the 2023 ABA Open Series on Cayuga Lake and a 2nd place finish (with Big Bass honors) in the 2024 ABA AFT on the same lake. While Brad doesn’t claim a single favorite technique, his versatility shines. From scoping small mouth on alewives, flipping large mouth in milfoil, to cranking rocky flats—his home waters of New York offer the perfect training ground to develop a well-rounded skill set. The competitive nature of tournaments keeps him sharp, but at the heart of it all, he just loves being on the water. Follow Brad Online Facebook Instagram YouTube: Coming Soon

Greg Del Russo, 37, grew up in Roxbury, New Jersey, just minutes from Lake Hopatcong—the state’s largest lake—and now resides in Hopatcong itself. Surrounded by water his whole life, Greg found his passion for fishing early on. Away from the water, he holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Drew University and began his career as a sports reporter before becoming a high school English teacher. He quickly moved up the ranks to school administrator, currently serving as a District High School ELA Coach. Greg’s introduction to fishing came through nighttime top water outings with his uncle and after-school pond trips with his mom and brothers. At 18, he began fishing the ABA American Fishing Tour as a co-angler, absorbing knowledge from experienced boaters. By 22, he moved to the front of the boat and started making waves. Over 18 years, Greg has tallied 47 top-3 finishes—including 7 wins and 21 runner-up placements. He has finished in the top 3 of ABA Division 10’s Angler of the Year race five times, winning AOY in 2024 after narrowly missing it in 2022 and 2023. He’s also a five-time NJ Bass Federation Regional qualifier and the 2022 Lake Hopatcong Champion. Fishing is more than a sport for Greg—it’s a way of life. He thrives on solving the puzzle of a day on the water, adapting to conditions and seeking out big bites. From skipping docks with a wacky rig to working a frog around isolated cover or drop shotting laydowns, Greg prides himself on his versatility and instinct-driven approach. He finds excitement in breaking down new fisheries and is always chasing the next opportunity to learn and improve. Beyond competition, Greg enjoys mentoring others, blending his passion for education and the outdoors. His faith plays a central role in his approach to both fishing and life. Supported by sponsors like Denali Rods, Riot Baits, Garden State Baits, Watt Cycle Batteries, and Frank’s Pizza, Greg continues to grow his presence in the fishing industry and remains open to future partnerships that align with his values.
