Warranty Policy

At WattCycle, we stand behind the quality and performance of our batteries. We offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase.

Please read the product manual carefully before installing and using the product, and use the battery correctly under the instructions of the manual.

Warranty Period

WattCycle warrants that the product will be free from defect in workmanship and material to the original consumer purchaser.
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

Question: Will my lithium battery still be covered under warranty after being connected in series or parallel?

Answer: As long as your product meets the warranty conditions and you have registered for the warranty, you will receive the corresponding warranty period. Connecting the batteries in series or parallel (or other normal operations) will not affect your product's warranty duration.

Warranty Statement

Any defects in material, workmanship of your product will be covered after you provide any valid proof of purchase and information including but not limited to:

1. A purchased order number made through WattCycle official stores.
2. Sales invoice or order confirmation email that clearly shows the description of the product, its price, and sales channel.

Note: The limited warranty is restricted to the country of purchase. The warranty will be invalid on the items once they are taken or shipped to other countries.

Exclusions of Warranty 

1. Misused, abused, damaged by accident or damaged due to force majeure. (e.g. lightning strikes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.);
2. Unauthorized modification, repair, dis-assembly or operation not in accordance with the official instructions or manuals;
3. Lost, stolen or full refunded product;
4. Warranty period expired;
5. The battery model on the warranty certificate does not match the actual item;
6. Product wear and tear through the usage of time.

Procedures for Warranty Claims

We’ll assist to analyze the consumer’s problem within 24 hours, and help solve the problem, restore battery usage, and introduce the optimal use method.

If our product fails to work normally, the consumer assists us in completing all the battery testing, and both parties confirm that the product does have quality problems, we’ll send a new battery replacement to the defective battery after it has been returned to our US warehouse by the pre-paid label we prepared. And the defective battery will be checked and tested by our technical team to analyze the problem.

From the date of purchase and within 6 months, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement or refund services; Within 7 months from the date of purchase to the end of the warranty, if our products have quality problems and cannot work normally, we can provide replacement services.

Any product(s) returned for valid warranty service will be shipped at the expense and risk of us. We will provide a pre-paid label to customers who need to return the products to the designated place at the specified time.

Batteries that have been serviced or replaced under their warranty period do not receive extended warranties. Instead, the serviced/replaced battery(-ies) will abide by the original warranty period issued when first purchased.

A: Yes.

The in 100 A BMS protects against both low temperature charge and discharge. Charging automatically cuts off below 0 °C ± 4 °C (32 °F ± 7.2 °F), and discharging cuts off below –20 °C ± 4 °C (–4 °F ± 7.2 °F). This prevents cell damage in cold conditions and helps extend overall battery life.

Q2: Do I need a special charger for WattCycle LiFePO4 server rack batteries?

A: For optimal performance, use a dedicated 58.4 V LiFePO4 charger. You also have two alternative charging methods:
Solar + MPPT: Connect photovoltaic panels to an MPPT charge controller sized for a 48 V LiFePO4 bank.
Inverter-Charger: Use an inverter with built-in AC→DC charging set to LiFePO4 parameters.

Q3: How many charge/discharge cycles can I expect?

A: WattCycle 48 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries deliver over 5,000 cycles at 90 % depth-of-discharge—roughly three times the cycle life of typical lead-acid batteries. In real-world terms, that translates to an 10+ year service life under normal use.

Q4: How many cells are inside the 48 V battery?

A: There are 16 EV grade A+ LiFePO4 cells, each 3.2 V nominal. Together they form a 51.2 V system with 100 Ah capacity—perfect for a 5 kW server rack battery application.

Q5: Can I connect these batteries in series or parallel?

A: Parallel only. You may link up to 16 identical WattCycle 48V 100 Ah units in parallel—creating up to a 48V 1600 Ah bank. Do not connect in series.
