Four days into owning two WattCycle 25v 314ah batteries, the app has stopped working. It connects, and the batteries are working (powering the inverter) but the app -after connecting to the battery- reports volts but 0amps (picture attached).
I dare say that I will be able to get it working again by switching things off and on, or dis/re-connecting the batteries, but what I really want is someone from WattCycle to answer me.
Is this being worked on?
Is Parallel Mode being implemented in 24v batteries?
Is there a timeline for this?
Also, these batteries were both at 100% last night, but this morning, one is at 96 and the other at 90. Clearly the system (BMS?) is shutting down one battery while draining the other. Given the cost of these batteries (2000Au$ each) I would think that WC would put serious effort into fixing this -or at least talking about fixing this (letting us know that something is happening).
I am quite unimpressed with this. I bought the batteries because I believed that these issues had been fixed. There is Nothing on the website, or in articles, which states that Parallel Mode only works with 12v batteries. And having questions unanswered for four days is just not acceptable.
Have any of the other owners out there heard anything about the timelines for these fixes? And... Am I wrong in thinking that the settings page should allow me to change some settings? There are editable fields, but they do not work, and WCsupport tells me that settings are not supposed to be changed by customers. So why is it there? Is the Settings tab just something else being worked on which will hopefully be implemented next year? Or does it actually work for some people?
I'll be most appreciative of any help (or response) -from anyone. I'm really not happy about just being ignored.
